Maxibon ( a subsidiary of Peters Icecream) is an international ice cream brand that is sold across the world. Their mission is to keep the dream of their founder, Fred Peters, alive by continuing to innovate and invent a new way of delivering ice cream to their customers. Recognising themselves as a brand that is bold, and not afraid to think differently, the aligned with Swanky Socks to help demonstrate this.
In 2018 and 2020 Swanky Socks partnered with Maxibon and Beyond Blue to deliver a campaign designed to raise funds for Beyond Blue and awareness surrounding mental health issues. Each year, Swanky Socks delivered a custom sock that captured the innovative nature of Peters Ice cream. In 2018 they decided to go for a custom sock with the design sublimated onto the product.
Then, in 2020 they went for a digitally printed custom sock. This means we were able to achieve a level of detail that wouldn’t be possible on a woven sock. Sales were processed via a custom page on swankysocks.com and the campaigns have raised over $26,000 for charity, Beyond Blue to date.
By collaborating with Swanky Socks and a charitable organisation like Beyond Blue, Maxibon were able to align their brand with both quality and increase brand awareness, while demonstrating they value implementing a purpose beyond commerce.
