We’ve said it once and we will end up saying it again and again, it is the responsibility of business owners to give back to the communities in which they operate. This is something that we place a great emphasis on at Swanky Socks, and it is incredible when we get the opportunity to work with a brand that shares a similar vision. 

Infin8 Care:

Infin8 Care came to us looking for a custom sock that they could give out as a Christmas gift for staff. During the design discussions, they showed their interest in our give-back program and if we offered an opportunity through which they could participate.

Our Give-Back Program:

For those of you who are unaware of our give-back program, it is one of the essential pillars in our purpose beyond commerce. With socks being one of the most sought after items in homeless shelters, we decided it was our responsibility as a business to give back to the community that has always supported us. So for each pair of socks, we sell through our retail store, we donate a pair to someone in need. Since the commencement of this program, we have been able to donate over 75,000 pairs of socks, positively impact the lives of over 90,000 people. Corporate Give-Back Initiative:

So, Infin8 Care’s query got us thinking. Giving back to our community is such a large part of our purpose beyond commerce, why do we not offer a similar opportunity for the brands and organisations that we work with? We saw this as an incredible opportunity to extend the reach of our give-back program, providing those we work with to expense the joys of giving back. In the end they opted to pay a small fee to ensure that a one-for-one donation on every pair of socks within their order. This was the origin of our corporate give-back initiative where, for a small additional fee, any brand that comes through us can opt into a one-for-one donation on there order, which we will then pass on to those who need it most.
