Brand Collaboration: Swanky Socks x Beyond Blue x Maxibon
In any one year, around 1 million Australians will be experiencing depression, while over 2 million will deal with anxiety. That’s over 3 million Australians who are currently living with anxiety or depression. It is estimated that around 45% of Australians will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime. Blokes can be known for bottling up their emotions, which is why campaigns that promote discussion and education surrounding mental health are so important. This is especially crucial considering the stresses 2020 has not only placed on individuals mental health, but also the organisations that support them.
The Campaign:
In 2019 Swanky Socks, Beyond Blue, and PETERS Ice-cream came together to deliver a campaign designed to raise funds for Beyond Blue and awareness surrounding mental health issues. It went so well that this year, they decided to go for round two!
Much like last year, Swanky Socks created a custom Maxibon Sock, which was sold on our website. All proceeds from sales of these ice cream beauties go directly to Beyond Blue to help improve the lives of Australians struggling with anxiety or depression.
Beyond Blue:
Beyond blue are a not-for-profit organisation that provides education and support to Australians on issues surrounding mental health. Their goal is to equip everyone with information on how to recognise the signs of someone struggling with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Additionally, they aim to educate people on how these issues can affect people and provide simple strategies to combat them.
Result:
